"Melanie Veazey not only teaches singing and acting practices, but LIFE! So much about being a performer is vulnerability. People experience traumas in life that can cause mental blocks that infiltrate all areas of life, As a performer. Its very easy to be blocked by past traumas that prevent you from giving your best performance. Melanie provides a safe space to break through what's holding you back as a performer. I am forever grateful for her support and direction" |
Melanie Veazey has been coaching, teaching and training for over 30 years. She is a proud graduate of one of the top theater training schools in the country, Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned her BFA in musical theater. She grew up in New York and later moved to Connecticut where she launched her first successful business, Impact Center for the Fine Arts. It was here that she learned how to do what she loves most; helping people find and follow their passions. Impact was the home to many rising stars including Lily Rabe, Lena Dunham, and Mamie and Grace Gummer. Impact was also a place for artists of all ages to explore their talents and find a way to use them as they launched or changed their careers. Moving to Orlando in 2001, Melanie began her second successful company, Impact on the Road, Inc. In this new model, students would have access to quality arts programming on their school campus without having to travel to a studio. She also began a private practice of coaching Voice, Acting and Audition. Melanie learned that she was not just coaching her clients in the arts, she was helping them with their lives. Time and time again, her clients would show signs of vast improvement. They were happier and excited as they pursued their passions. They were getting parts, getting jobs, excelling in school and life and leaving their negativity behind. Her practice has now expanded to include healing modalities so that she can really coach the "whole" person. Melanie spends time getting to know her clients so that she truly understands what makes them tick. She has an innate sense of how to approach any issues or difficulties and finds a process for each individual that works. Melanie is certified in Neuro Linguistic Programming and is a proud Reiki Master. She uses these wonderful techniques to further assist her clients to live their best lives and follow their dreams. Melanie is happily married to her husband Bob and in her spare time still dabbles in the performing arts in local theater. |
